Stopping Payments for an Event
There are two ways to stop accepting payments via atgPay for an event:
- Change the event status
- Disable atgPay for the event
Change the Event Status
Changing the status of an event to 'Archived' or 'Disabled' will stop atgPay from accepting payments for that event. Any unpaid bidders who attempt to use the Pay Now button on their invoice will receive a message that "This auction house is no longer accepting online payment for this auction, please reach out to the auction house to arrange payment."
To change the status of an event:
- Click on the Listing link at the bottom of the auction event on the AuctionBuilder Dashboard.
- Select Archived or Disabled from the Status drop-down.
- Deleting an event will also prevent bidders from submitting payments through atgPay.
- Click the Update button at the bottom of the page.
Changing the event status back to 'Closed' or 'Invoiced' will open the event up for receiving payments via atgPay again.
Disable atgPay for the Event
- Click on the Payment & Terms link at the bottom of the auction event on the AuctionBuilder Dashboard.
- On the Payment & Terms page, uncheck the Enable atgPay box.
- Click the Save button at the bottom of the page.
- Any unpaid bidders who attempt to use the Pay Now button on their invoice will receive a message that "This auction house is no longer accepting online payment for this auction, please reach out to the auction house to arrange payment."
