About Cover Lots
Cover Lots are the pre-selected lots we’ll use to promote your upcoming auctions in advertising assets. They provide a smoother experience for you, quicker turnaround times, and greater flexibility when planning your event advertising.
A new Cover Lots Manager tool has been created to allow you to select your own cover lots directly in AuctionBuilder. This centrally managed tool reduces the need to provide images and links through emails and forms.
- Click here to see this new tool in action!
Additionally, your ad creation will now begin as soon as your booking is confirmed. This means you’ll receive your initial ad proofs faster than ever, giving you more time to review and request any refinements.
To purchase advertising, contact your Client Success Manager.
Cover Lots Manager
- This simple tool in AuctionBuilder automatically picks up to 12 lots from your upcoming auction to feature in promotional assets.
- By default, the last 12 lots in your sale will be selected, but you can easily adjust the selections based on your preference.
Things to Consider
- For each of your booked ads, 2 rounds of proofs will be supplied, provided there is enough time ahead of the ad's deployment. See the timeline below for guarantees.
- Final adjustments are needed 24 hours ahead of the deployment date.
- Proofs for ads in newsletters will not be supplied.
- Where ads run with fewer than 12 lots (eg. Banners), the lots used will be taken in sequential order (1 to 12). Please ensure you’ve selected your top lots for the auction in the first positions in the Cover Lot Manager.
